Pattaya, Thailand On June 27, 2025, a 25-year-old man, Sarawut Phuthotham, appealed for help in recovering his stolen motorcycle after a former coworker borrowed it and disappeared. Sarawut suspects the vehicle was sold to fund drug purchases.

The incident occurred on June 24, when a former colleague, known to Sarawut from working together for two to three months, asked to borrow his red and black Honda MSX motorcycle, registered as 1 1253 Kalasin, to pick up a friend. The borrower, identified only as Mr. Beer, allegedly kept Sarawut waiting for hours before vanishing entirely.

Concerned by the prolonged absence, Sarawut attempted to track down his motorcycle but found no trace of it or the borrower. After visiting the suspects workplace and residence, he learned that no one had seen the individual. Further inquiries revealed the borrowers history of stealing motorcycles and involvement with drugs, leading Sarawut to suspect his motorcycle was sold on the black market to buy narcotics.

Sarawut, who now struggles to commute to work without his motorcycle, urged anyone who spots the vehicle, particularly if driven by Mr. Beer, to urgently contact him or the nearest police station. He added that if the culprit returns the motorcycle, he is willing to forgive the incident without pressing charges.

Authorities are yet to comment on the case, and the search for the motorcycle continues.
